Organizations and members

Keep shared work, access, and usage in the right organization.

Choose your workspace

The organization switcher selects the workspace you are using. Check it before creating a capture, crawl, pin, or schedule, saving SQL, or creating an API key. Those resources belong to the selected organization, even though the underlying web corpus is shared.

Invite a teammate

Owners and admins can invite people from Members. Choose an appropriate role and send the invitation to the address they will use to sign in. A pending invitation is not an active membership; the recipient must accept it.

Use Members to review active memberships and pending invitations, change roles when permitted, and remove access. Ownership changes require an owner.

Changes apply to API access too

Personal API keys and connected MCP apps use current membership permissions, not a frozen copy of access from when they were created. Reducing a role reduces what they can do. Removing the membership prevents them from accessing the organization, starting with the next request or tool call.

Invite a teammate

Owners and admins can invite ordinary members. Owner changes require owner permission. In scripts, read members first and pass the returned Member object when changing a role; its current role protects against stale edits.
